Below you’ll find a generalized revenue protection (RP) quote for corn, soybeans, and cotton for Union County, NC. Actual premium and coverage will differ depending on your actual production averages and your county/state, but these will give you an idea of what your coverage might look like. All quotes below are based on 300 planted acres, the county average, and commodity base prices as of February 7, 2025 (grain corn- $4.62/bu, silage corn- $39.50/ton, soybeans- $10.59/bu, cotton- $0.69/lb). Base prices will not be set until after February 14th, but what looks good now will usually still look good once prices are finalized.
